Mrs. Virginia “Ginny” Verdoorn, age 92, of Rock Rapids, formerly of Lake Park and Orange City, passed away on Saturday, March 14th, at the Avera Merrill Pioneer Hospital in Rock Rapids.
There will be a private family graveside service on Sunday, June 7th, at the Newkirk Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., at the Newkirk Reformed Church, both in rural Hospers, with the Rev. Travis Remme officiating. A time of refreshments and visitation with the family will follow the service.
The Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials will be given to Northwestern College Athletics.
