Walter Vincent Klein, age 70 of Hospers, Iowa passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. His Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Andringa Funeral Home in Sheldon, Iowa.
Visitation with the family present will be 12 noon until the time of service on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Andringa Funeral Home in Sheldon, Iowa.
Burial will be at a later date.

Walter Vincent Klein, the son of Lawrence and Margaret (Steichen) Klein was hatched on a fence post along the family farm on February 27, 1953 in Hospers, Iowa. He lived his youth in Hospers, Iowa, he attended elementary school in Hospers and graduated from Spalding High School, he went on to further his education at NITC in Sheldon receiving his certificate in Welding. Walt had worked for R.R. Water Systems out of Minnesota, Demco Manufacturing of Boyden and he retired from Harbst Construction of LeMars, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Doris Sharon of Rock Rapids on August 16, 1975 in Alvord, Iowa. They lived in many different places such as, Brookings, SD, Laverne, Minnesota, Springfield, South Dakota and on the family farm since 1979. Walter passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota reaching the age of 70 years, 10 months and 24 days.
Walt enjoyed fishing, gardening, hunting, going to his grandkids sporting events, watching his favorite movies with John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. Traveling, spending time with family. And he loved his puppies.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 48 years, Doris and their 4 children, Becky Myers of Estherville, Iowa; Dana Klein of Hospers, Iowa; Mark (Brittany) Klein of Hospers, Iowa and Travis Klein of Orange City, Iowa; a son-in-law, Ryan Watters of Ashton, Iowa; 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Janice Klein of Hospers, Iowa; Marlene Martiniere of North Carolina and Eileen Klein of Marshall, Minnesota; 2 brothers, Roger Klein of Sioux Center and Lyle Klein of Oklahoma and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jill Watters, his parents, Lawrence and Margaret Klein, a brother, Albert Klein in infancy and his in-laws, George and Lois Sharon.
Walt will be remembered as a person who spoke His mind and not saying No to the puppies.
