Sioux City, Iowa – The 2021 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Softball All-Conference team has been announced after a vote of league coaches.
Katlin Anders from Midland was named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Player-of-the-Year while Kathryn Miska of Jamestown was named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Pitcher-of-the-Year. Mike Heard from Midland was named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Coach-of-the-Year.
Four players from Northwestern received All-Conference Honors. Sr. Outfielder Jessica Mouw from Sioux Center was a first team selection. Soph. Infielders Jennifer Boeve of Hastings, and Emily Strasser of Sioux Falls were named to the second team, and Freshman Pitcher Kameryn Etherington from Algona was an Honorable Mention pick.
Two Dordt players were named. Sr Rachel Evavold from Bloomington, Minnesota was a first team selection as a Utility player, and Senior Utility player Hannah Sikkema, from Hopkins, Michigan was an Honorable Mention honoree.
