Sioux City, Iowa – A Dordt University Defender has earned Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athlete-of-the-Week honors as announced by the GPAC Wednesday, January 28th.
Willem Den Hartog from Dordt University is this week’s field athlete-of-the-week. Den Hartog, a junior from Nampa, Idaho, earned his third win in the pole vault during this indoor season with a first-place finish at the Dennis Young Invite.
Den Hartog cleared 4.55 meters and currently sits No.1 in the GPAC with his school record vault last week.
