Sioux City, Iowa – A Dordt University Defender has been named as a Great Plains Athletic Conference Softball Player-of-the-Week as announced by the GPAC Tuesday, Feburary 17th.
Abigail Tweedy of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week. Tweedy, a freshman from Piedmont, South Dakota, tossed a complete game shutout in a win over Bismarck State.
She gave up just one hit, while striking out six batters in the victory.
