Stephen Leinen of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Special Teams Player-of-the-Week. Leinen, a senior from Harlan, converted a 50-yard field goal as time expired in the first half to give Dordt a 24-14 lead. He was also perfect on six point-after-tries and three field goals, one of which was his fourth career kick of 50 yards or more.
The Defenders will travel to Midland on October 3rd. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
