A Red Raider earns GPAC Football Player-of-the-Week honors

Sioux City, Iowa – One Northwestern College football player was selected by the Great Plains Athletic Confernece as a Football Player-of-the-Week as announced by the league office Monday, Nov. 18th.

Eli Stader of Northwestern College is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Special Teams Player-of-the-Week. Stader, a senior from Cedar Grove, Wisconsin, was impactful in Northwestern’s 71-7 win on Saturday, most notably hitting a program-record and NAIA-leading 60-yard field goal. He also recovered a fumbled kickoff return and went 6-for-6 on extra point attempts, all in the first half.
