Sioux City, Iowa – A Northwestern College men’s basketball player has been named as a Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week as announced by the GPAC Tuesday, January 27th.
Jalen Langsy of Northwestern College is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men’s basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Langsy, a sophomore from Shakopee, Minnesota, led the Raiders with 32 points in Saturday’s 90-75 win at Midland.
He made five shots from beyond the arc, converting at a 50 percent clip. He has scored 30 or more points in each of the last three games and is second in the NAIA in points per game at 27.8.
