A Red Raider earns GPAC Wrestler-of-the-Week honors

Sioux City, Iowa – A wrestler from Northwestern College has been named a Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Wrestler-of-the-Week as annoounced by the GPAC Wednesday, Jan. 7th.

Northwestern College wrestler Noah Parmelee is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Wrestler-of-the-Week.  Parmelee, a junior from Sioux City, Iowa, was one of two fourth-place finishers on the Raiders in a competitive field at the Under Armour Invite, going 2-2 against NCAA competition.

He won his first two matches via decision (5-0) and major decision (11-3) to advance to the semifinals, dropping the next two in close decisions to finish one place shy of the podium.
