Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers says former Iowa State star Allen Lazard is ready for a larger role.
Lazard is in a contract dispute and is not taking part in minicamp this week. The Packers lost top receiver Devante Adams in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Packers have several new faces at receiver heading into next season.
Lazard had 40 catches, including eight for touchdowns last season, his fourth in Green Bay.
