Caleb Badura concluded play Wednesday afternoon at the NAIA Men’s Golf Championship held at the Las Sendas Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz.
In 56th place after an opening round 78, Badura carded a five-over 76 in Wednesday’s second round and fell three spots to 59th in the standings after 36 holes. The freshman did not qualify for the final two rounds.
Ben Hadden (Kansas Wesleyan) continued to lead and is one of just two players to be under par at the halfway point of the 72-hole championship. Hadden carded a one-under 70 and is four-under for the championship, holding a two-shot lead over Victor Miron (Texas Wesleyan).
Texas Wesleyan holds a 14-shot lead over Rocky Mountain in the team standings. TWU (+8) has a 36-hole total of 576.
