Rylan Brue, a recent graduate of Unity Christian High School, has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Blades hockey program.
Brue was a 6-2, 165 pound forward for the Sioux Center Storm and served the Storm for the last two years as team captain. He led the Storm in scoring and received the Hobey Baker character award from the South Dakota Amateur Hockey Association.
“Rylan is a quality young man. He plays a cerebral game, reading the ice well, and is able to find the puck and his teammates regularly. I’m excited about the character and play making ability that Rylan will bring to our team,” said Blades coach Nate van Niejenhuis.
Rylan plans to study Theology and Philosophy at Dordt College.
