Samuel De Jong has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Blades hockey program.
De Jong played for the Sioux Center Storm and is listed 6-2, 180 pounds. De Jong had ten goals and 14 assists this season with a 1.4 points per game average and was a forward for the Storm.
“Sam is a well rounded hockey player, who brings speed and size to our team. He will be a welcome addition, and his presence will increase our depth and potency up front,” said Blades coach Nate van Niejenhuis.
Samuel plans to study Graphic Design at Dordt College.
