Orange City, Iowa — Jenna Bouma (Orange City, Iowa) has signed her letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College.
Bouma has played four years of volleyball at Unity Christian. She averaged almost two kills per set to go along with one block on average. She tallied 153 kills and 89 blocks this past season. Bouma was named to the First Team on the All-Conference list.
“Jenna is a player that played middle hitter for Unity as well as serve receive for her team,” said head coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. “She brings a variety of different skills on the volleyball court which helped her high school team be very good. We are pumped Jenna is a Red Raider and we believe with her athleticism she has some high-level volleyball in front of her.”
Bouma was named to the academic All-Conference team for her efforts in the classroom. She is the daughter of Ross and Angie.
“I chose Northwestern because of the welcoming community and because it focuses on faith-based learning,” stated Bouma.
