Boyden-Hull’s Rozeboom Commits To NWC Volleyball

Orange City, Iowa — Leah Rozeboom (Hull, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College.

Rozeboom is a 5’11” outside hitter who completed a standout, four-year career playing for Boyden-Hull High School. Rozeboom ranked third in the Siouxland Conference with a .212 kill efficiency and put down 215 kills in leading the Comets to the 2A state tournament last fall. She earned third team all-conference honors while also claiming all-conference accolades in basketball.

“Leah attacks with a ton of velocity on the volleyball,” said Northwestern Head Coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. “Leah has improved each year throughout her high school career and we believe that her best volleyball will be played here at Northwestern. She is a great competitor on the court and has a heart for her teammates. We are excited to welcome Leah to our team and our campus community.”

Rozeboom is a member of both the National Honor Society and honor roll; she plans to study Biology / Health Professions at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Mike and Crystal.

“I chose to attend Northwestern because I love how Christ is integrated in every part of the education,” said Rozeboom. “Northwestern was a very welcoming place and the professors and coaches help you pursue excellence.”
