Cauthron Signs With NWC Wrestling

Case Cauthron (Spencer, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his wrestling career at Northwestern College.

Cauthron is a four-year letter winner competing in both wrestling and cross country for Spencer High School. Cauthron qualified for the state tournament as a junior and has accumulated 84 wins during his wrestling career. This season, he sports a 14-3 record and projects to compete at 125 in college. Cauthron earned all-conference honors two years in cross country and has been an honor roll student all four years. He plans to study Business at Northwestern and is the son of Randy and Leah.

“We have been excited to see Case develop over the last few years,” commented Northwestern Head Coach Rik Dahl. “He is a young man who is committed to learning his craft and has the kind of work ethic we want in our program. A Northwest Iowa product, we feel that Case has the potential to make a difference in our program.”

“Northwestern is the best choice for me to continue both my education and wrestling career,” said Cauthron. “I really like the campus and getting to know the other wrestlers.”
