Sioux City, Iowa — Briar Cliff volleyball has announced the signing of Taryn Nothem to the 2021-22 roster. Nothem is a senior at MOC-Floyd Valley, where she is a volleyball, basketball, softball, and track athlete.
“We are excited to have a local talent like Taryn added to our roster,” said head coach Lindsey Weatherford. “Taryn is a tremendous student and standout area athlete that we have watched develop over the past few years. Her athletic experience on an excellent high school volleyball squad combined with a standout club program will carry over to collegiate volleyball immediately.”
Nothem has earned 11 varsity letters for the Dutchmen and has helped MOC-Floyd Valley to two conference championships and one state tournament appearance. Outside of athletics, Nothem is involved in student council, choir, REACH, and was Academic All-State.
Nothem is the daughter of Tracey Nothem and has one sister.
