Peyton Christenson (Lake Park, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College this fall.
Christenson is a 6’3″, 320-pound offensive / defensive lineman who attended Minnesota West Community College last fall and played two years for the Harris-Lake Park High School football team. Christenson was part of HLP team that qualified for the playoffs and finished 8-2 during the 2019 season. He totaled 6.5 tackles and one fumble recovery along the defensive line and paved the way for an offense that amassed over 3,400 yards and scored 51 touchdowns.
“We look forward to having Peyton be part of our Raider football program,” commented Northwestern head coach Matt McCarty. “Peyton has a strong desire to succeed and has a team-first attitude. He is a great addition for our offensive line.”
Christenson plans to study Exercise Science at Northwestern and is the son of Scott and Tara.
“I chose to attend Northwestern because of the small campus feel but one that has life-changing possibilities as well,” said Christenson. “The coaches, players and professors made me feel welcome.”
