Northwest Iowa — The Class 1A District 1 All-District Football Team has been released. Offensive MVP went to West Sioux quarterback Hunter Deckers, while Defensive MVP went to West Sioux’s Chase Koopmans.
Head Coach of the year honors went to Falcon coach Ryan Schwiesow. Assistant Offensive Coach of the year went to West Lyon’s Steve Hawf, and Assistant Defensive Coach of the year went to West Sioux’s Jerome Hoegh. West Sioux led the district with seven first teamers, while West Lyon had six.
