Des Moines, Iowa — The 2021 Iowa State Individual Wrestling Tournament opens a three day run in Des Moines Thursday at Wells Fargo Arena.
Class 1A wrestlers opened first with the 1st round and 1st round of consolations set for 9:00am till noon. The afternoon session featured 3A wrestlers with the 1st round and 1st round of consolations from 1:30 to 4:30 pm. The final session of day one began at 6:00 and went to 9:00 pm. The tournament will wrap up on Saturday evening with the final session beginning at 5:45 with the IWCOA, IHSDA and IHSAA awards followed by the Grand March and Finals for all classes starting at 6:00 pm.
