Des Moines — Day two of the Iowa State individual wrestling competition was decided Friday. Class 2A wrestlers began with the morning session at 9:00am. First up was the quarterfinals in the championship bracket followed by the second round of the consolations. Next action for Class 1A wrestlers came in the Friday afternoon session running from 2:30 until 5:45 with the quarterfinals and second round of the consolations. The evening session began at 7:30 including the 2A championship semi finals followed by the third round of consolations. Scheduled for 8:45 were the championship semi finals followed by the third round of consolations in 1A.
