De Stigter Joins Defender Cheer

Sioux Center, Iowa — Naomi De Stigter, a senior at Western Christian High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender cheer program.

“We are excited to welcome Naomi to the Dordt cheer team next year. We look forward to seeing her grow spiritually, socially, academically, and physically through her time her at Dordt and as a part of our program!” said Dordt cheer coach Mel Knobloch.

De Stigter has been a football and basketball cheerleader at Western Christian.

“I love the campus and the people are really friendly,” said De Stigter.

Naomi is the daughter of Douglas and Lorie De Stigter of Sioux Center, Iowa. She plans to study English at Dordt.
