“I am excited Avery has decided to continue running at Dordt. He is a great fit for Dordt College and I look forward to seeing his success in the classroom and in his running, over the next four years. He is coming off of a strong senior cross country season that saw him achieve both team and individual success, and I look forward to him carrying that momentum into his senior track season, into his summer training, and into the cross country season next Fall,” said Dordt cross country coach Nate Wolf.
Avery is the son of Matt ad Barb Den Herder of Sioux Center, Iowa. He plans to study Biomedical Engineering at Dordt.
