Northwest Iowa — District meets are set for Thursday across the state of Iowa. The district meets are the qualifying events for the State Cross Country Meet.
In Class 2A Sheldon will compete at the district hosted by Unity Christian. Along with Sheldon the field includes Boyden Hull Rock Valley, Cherokee, East Sac County, Estherville Lincoln Central, George Little Rock Central Lyon, Missouri Valley, Okoboji, Pocahontas Area, Sioux Center, South Central Calhoun, Woodbury Central Kingsley Pierson, Western Christian and host team Unity Christian.

In Class 1A area runners will be part of the 29 team field at Ridge View. Area teams include Akron Westfield, LeMars Gehlen, Harris Lake Park, Hartley Melvin Sanborn, MMC/RU, Sibley Ocheyedan, South O’Brien, Remsen St Mary’s, Trinity Christian, West Lyon and West Sioux.
