Cedar Falls Iowa — Don Bosco handed the Harris Lake Park Wolves their only loss of the season in the 8 Player Championship game Thursday at the UNI Dome. The Dons put 18 points on the board to turn a 30-21 lead into a 48-21 final. Both teams end the year at 12-1.
Bryce Perkins completed 23-of-42 passes for 258 yards and a pair of touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Jordan Kyle caught 8 balls for 128 yards and a touchdown. Keegan Carpenter was on the receiving end of the other touchdown pass. Trevor Gunderson had 11 carries for 66 yards and a score. Dalton Nicks converted all three of his extra point attempts.
Don Bosco was led by Austin Svoboda who carried 15 times for 180 yards and 4 touchdowns in the contest. Brandon Bagby threw for a pair of touchdowns on 3-of-8 passing for 79 yards. The Dons also took advantage of 7 Harris Lake Park turnovers while not turning over the ball in the contest.
