Dordt and Northwestern Well Represented on GPAC All-Conference Volleyball Teams

GPAC LogoSioux City Iowa — Three Dordt College volleyball players claimed first-team honors from the Great Plains Athletic Conference and seven total Defenders were accorded post-season honors in voting done by the GPAC coaches at the conclusion of the season.

Brooke Granstra (Senior; Sioux Center), Jamie Gesink (Sophomore; Sioux Center) and Ema Altena (Sophomore; Sioux Center) were all repeat first-team selections.

Haley Moss (Junior; Sioux Center) and Elizabeth Kiel (Senior; Orange City) were named to the second-team while Jill Schouten (Senior; Sioux Center) and Summer Jansen (Junior; Sheldon) earned honorable mention honors.

Five Northwestern College players claimed all-conference honors as announced by the GPAC office and voted upon by the conference coaches at the conclusion of the season.

Area graduates included Jessica Jansen (Junior, Sheldon) who was named to the second team and Jillian Estes (Senior, Sioux Center) who earned honorable mention honors.
