Northwestern took a pair of 10-5 and 6-5 decisions on Monday night, April 8. Nelson was the pitcher of record for Dordt in game one and allowed eight hits with Chris Schrieber going 2-4 at the plate for the Defenders with a grand slam. The hosts then won the second game with a two run homerun with two outs in the seventh inning.
