Dordt Continues To Receive Votes In Men’s NAIA Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mustangs of Morningside remain in the No. 1 spot for the third week in a row of the 2019-20 NAIA DII Men’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. The Mustangs captured all 9 first-place votes this week allowing College of Idaho to receive two and Indiana Wesleyan one.

The No. 1 Mustangs are currently 15-1 in conference and 23-1 overall with their only loss being coming from cross town rival, Briar Cliff (Iowa). The Mustangs are ranked in the top five in four different statistical categories including: field goal percentage (.522), total rebound defense (30.0), scoring defense per game (66.75), assist/turnover ratio (1.531) and scoring margin (16.542)

Elsewhere in the GPAC, Dakota Wesleyan remains in the 10 spot, Mount Marty falls to 18, and Dordt and Concordia received votes
