Sioux Center, Iowa — Dordt will host Briar Cliff in a GPAC football game starting at 1:00 on Saturday, November 6 in Sioux Center, Iowa. The game is the final home game of the season for Dordt and will also be Senior Day for the Dordt seniors.
The Chargers are 3-6 this season and 3-5 in the GPAC with league wins over Mount Marty, Jamestown and Dakota Wesleyan. The Chargers have bounced back from an 84-7 loss to Morningside on October 16 to win back to back contests.
Dordt is 5-3 this season and will be attempting to bounce back from back to back losses to Morningside and Northwestern. Dordt passes for 211 yards per game and rushes for 278 while opponents pass for 216 and rush for 147. All totaled Dordt outgains teams 489-363 and outscore teams on average 37.9-22.5.
Tyler Reynolds is 62-93 passing for 982 yards with four interceptions and 11 touchdowns. Levi Jungling has 52 catches for 16.6 yards per catch with eight touchdown receptions. Eli Boldan has 24 catches for 14.2 yards per catch and three touchdowns while Hayden Large has a 19.8 yards per catch average with three touchdown grabs and 15 total receptions.
Tanner Millikan has 58 total tackles and Brayton Van Kekerix has 56 total stops with a forced fumble and interception. Abe Stoesz has 2.5 sacks and 38 tackles and two interceptions and Jalen Placide has 39 tackles with an interception. Nathan Kabongo has three interceptions and Drew Daum leads the team in sacks with four and he has 35 tackles. Sam Andrews has been credited with three sacks and Colton Vander Berg 3.5.
Blade Koons has 24 punts for a 38.6 average and Brett Zachman is 7-11 on field goals with a long of 41 and he is 35-37 on point after tries.
Dordt will travel to Jamestown on Saturday, November 13 to conclude the season while Briar Cliff is scheduled to go to Northwestern.
