Sioux Center, Iowa — Dordt will play a GPAC doubleheaders with Hastings on Friday at 4:00 and Doane on Saturday, April 17 at 11:00 AM.
Hastings is 11-20 this season with a 3-7 GPAC mark and posted a 1-3 record last weekend against Midland and the College of Saint Mary.
Alyssa Carter is the top Hastings hitter with 39 hits and a .406 batting average with 24 runs batted in and 20 runs scored. Mattie Hogrefe is batting .349 with 37 hits and seven doubles and 27 runs batted in with three homeruns. Julie Reimer is batting .317 and has 26 hits along with Anastasia Krueger.
Doane is 17-18 this year and 4-6 in the GPAC.
Kayla Miller is batting .347 with 35 hits and four homeruns with 24 runs batted in. Shelby Downard is batting .323 with nine doubles and five homeruns. Megan Elliott has three homeruns and 16 runs batted in.
Josie Schnakenberg is 9-10 this season with 105 innings pitched and has 114 strikeouts with a .292 earned run average. Shelby Downard is 6-7 this year with 79 innings pitched and she has 65 strikeouts.
Dordt is 15-17 after absorbing a pair of losses on Wednesday, April 7 against Jamestown. Dordt is currently in 4-6 in GPAC play with eight conference games remaining after this weekend.
Jessica Oules is batting .358 with 34 hits and five runs batted in with 10 stolen bases. Hannah Sikkema Is batting .355 with 27 hits and 14 runs batted in. Kenzie Cunard’s batting average is .308 with four doubles, two homeruns and 16 runs batted in and Rachel Evavold has 25 base hits and 19 runs batted in.
Abby Kraemer is 7-7 on the mound with a 2.67 earned run average and she has 97 innings pitched with 109 strikeouts. Rachel Evavold is 6-5 with a 3.42 earned run average and she has 43 strikeouts in 69 and two-third innings.
Dordt is scheduled to go to Dakota State on April 20 for a pair of games and will be on the road to face Morningside and the College of Saint Mary on Friday and Saturday. Dordt’s next home test is against Waldorf on April 28.
