Seward, Nebraska — The Dordt men and women competed at the Concordia Twilight on Friday, May 14 in Seward, Nebraska in the final competition before the NAIA National Championship. The NAIA meet will be held May 27-29 at Gulf Shores, Alabama.
For the men, the day was highlighted by four Defenders placing in the top-eight in the 400 meters and five in the 800 meters. For the women, the day was highlighted by a pair of first place finishes from Emma Bakker in the 200 and 400 meters. Cori De Jong also met the automatic standard to qualify for the NAIA National Championship.
