Dordt Women’s Cross Country Ranked 5th

Sioux Center, Iowa — The Dordt Defender women’s cross country is fifth in the latest edition of the Women’s Cross Country Coaches’ Top 25 Poll released on Thursday, March 18.

The Defenders took 388 points in the balloting done by coaches representing each of the conferences in the NAIA. Taylor (Indiana) is in the top spot with 436 points and Dordt is two points behind the College of Idaho in fourth.

Other GPAC members in the poll include Morningside (21) and Northwestern and Concordia are both in the receiving votes category of the poll.

There will be another NAIA poll released on March 29 and the 2020 NAIA Cross Country National Championship will be run on April 9, 2021 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
