Dordt Women’s Golf Finishes 7th At Lila Frommelt Invite

The Dordt Defender women’s golf team finished seventh at the Lila Frommelt Invite completing play on Saturday, September 18 in the two-day event.

The Defenders shot a 350 on Saturday for a two day total of 698 and were four shots behind Concordia and nine shots in front of the College of Saint Mary.

Iowa Western won the team title with a 596 and was ten strokes clear of its nearest competitor.

Dordt was led on Saturday by Emily Knoche’s 82 while Kerri Kroeze had an 85. Rachel Bostwick and Gianna Van Klaveren had a 90 and 93 to finish the scoring for Dordt on Saturday.

The two-day standings had Emily Knoche in a tie for 17th with an 84-82-166 and Rachel Bostwick finished in 34th with 87-90=177. Gianna Van Klaveren and Kerri Kroeze were right behind with 173 and tied for 35th in the 69 golfer field.
