Dordt Women’s Track And Field Take 3rd At GPAC Championships

Sioux Center, Iowa — The Dordt women’s track and field program matched its 2020 third place finish at the GPAC Championships with a third place finish at the 2021 Indoor Championship held on Friday and Saturday, February 19 and 20 in Sioux Center, Iowa.

The Defenders had individual wins in three events with Mika Kooistra claiming the 600 meter title, Eden Winslow the 3000 meters and Taylor Anema the 5000 meters. The 4×400 and 4×800 also took first in their respective events and Emma Bakker was a runner-up in both the 200 and 400 and finished seventh in the 55 meters.
