Dordt’s Kampman Earns All-American Honor

Sioux Center, Iowa — With her 31st place finish at the NAIA National Cross Country Championship at Seminole Valley in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Dordt’s Jessica Kampman (Sophomore; Abbotsford, British Columbia) earned NAIA All-American status for the 2020-21 school year.

Kampman ran first for the Defenders in helping them to an eight place finish at the National Championship and she ran an 18:28 on the 5,000 meter course.

Kampman is the seventh Defender women’s runner to claim All-American honors since 1995.

Finishers in the top-40 at the NAIA National Championship are considered All-Americans
