Dordt’s Wolf Named GPAC Men’s Cross Country Coach Of The Year

Dordt University’s Nate Wolf has been named the Great Plains Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Coach of the Year for the 2019 season.

Wolf coached the Dordt men to their second straight GPAC title and the program’s second straight NAIA National Championship Meet appearance. The men are currently ranked no. 16 in the NAIA Coaches’ Poll.

“Nate Wolf continues to lead our cross country program in an exemplary manner.  His runners respect him because of the intentional manner in which he invests in their lives.  In addition to developing outstanding teams each year, Coach Wolf also helps young people realize their potential in all spheres of life.  We are fortunate to have him representing Dordt University,” said Ross Douma, Dordt Director of Athletics.

This is the fifth time Wolf has been named GPAC Cross Country Coach of the Year while at Dordt.  He earned the honor while coaching the women in 2015, 2017 and 2018 and last year while coaching the men.

The Defenders will conclude the 2019 campaign at the NAIA National Championship meet on Friday, November 22.
