Estherville, Iowa — Estherville-Lincoln Central’s Zack Anderson has signed a letter of admission as a preferred walk-on at Iowa State.
The 6′ 175 linebacker was a 2 All District selection and tallied 61 tackles, 13.5 TFL and 5.5 sacks as a senior for the Midgets. Offensively he recorded four receptions for 31 yards.
As a junior Anderson tallied 51.5 tackles, 13 TFL and 1 sack.
A multisport athlete, Anderson competed in track his junior year for ELC with a personal best in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.43 and a team best in the 800 meter with a time of 2:11.06. He also ran the 4×200 and 800 medley relay.
