Football Broadcast Preview For Friday October 21st

It’s playoff time for 8 player through Class 2A this Friday. Our broadcast coverage includes Sheldon at Spirit Lake in a first round match up on KIWA AM 1550 and 100.7 FM. On KIWA FM 105.3 it’s Boyden Hull Rock Valley and Heelan closing the season at Rock Valley.

The Orabs open against the Fourth ranked Indians who wrapped up a perfect 8-0 season with a win at Southeast Valley. The Orabs ended the regular season with a home loss against Unity Christian to finish at 4-4.

Orab Head Coach Tyler Lloyd sees the Indians as a complete team and especially dangerous on special teams.

The biggest key for the Orabs will be time of possession.

Boyden Hull Rock Valley will take a 2-6 record (0-4) into the season finale against Bishop Heelan at Rock Valley. The Crusaders are 2-6 with a 2-2 district mark following a loss at Sergeant Bluff Luton.

Nighthawks Head Coach Jayme Rozeboom feels team speed is the calling card of the Crusaders.
