New York — Former Iowa defensive back Dane Belton believes his versatility will help him in the NFL.
Belton was drafted in the fourth round by the New York Giants after leading the Hawkeyes with five interceptions while playing the “cash” position. It is a hybrid safety/linebacker position in the Iowa defense.
Belton says the versatility will help him as he concentrates on playing safety in the NFL.
Belton says his interceptions were the result of preparation and film study.
