Former Nighthawk, SDSU All-American Garret Greenfield Talks Season, Upcoming Championship

Brookings, South Dakota — The #1 seed South Dakota State Jackrabbits take on 2 seed Sam Houston on Sunday afternoon in Frisco, Texas for the FCS Championship. KIWA caught up with All-American offensive lineman and former Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley Nighthawk Garret Greenfield.

Going back to his high school career, Greenfield talks about what he learned playing for Coach Brandt and the Nighthawks that has helped him succeed at the college level.

With the football season postponed to the spring, SDSU put in the offseason work leading up to the spring season.

The Jackrabbits offensive line has paved the way for an offense that scores over 30 points a game, and gains over 400 yards. Greenfield talks about the Jacks’ complete offense.

With the FCS Championship on Sunday, Greenfield and SDSU are treating it as just another business trip.

Kick off is at 1 pm in Frisco, Texas on Sunday, May 16th
