Sioux City, Iowa – A former Western Christian volleyball standout has earned Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Volleyball Player-of-the-Week honors as announced by the GPAC Tuesday, September 9th.
Northwestern’s Stella Winterfeld is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week. Winterfeld, a junior from Sioux Center, notched 24 kills in Northwestern’s five-set win at Dordt on Saturday, putting away the final three kills to secure the win.
She also had two service aces, nine digs, and two blocks to complement her offensive performance.
