Northwest Iowa — Week Two of the High School Football season brings another round of non-district competition for area teams. Sheldon hits the road to play Sioux Center, while Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley hosts Okoboji.

Sheldon enters the week coming off a home loss to West Sioux. Sioux Center opened its season with a win over Central Lyon/George-Little Rock and sits No. 3 in the latest Class 2A Poll.

Orab Head Coach Andy Cooper on planning for the extreme heat of this week.

A big key this week is every player contributing their one-eleventh. Cooper explains.

Boyden Hull Rock Valley opened the year with a road win at Sibley-Ocheyedan, while Okoboji began its season with a home win over Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn. The Pioneers made their first appearance of the season in the Class 2A Poll, checking in at No. 7.
