All the brackets are set for the upcoming Girls State Basketball Tournament opening Monday in Des Moines. This years tournament will once again be decided at Wells Fargo Arena. The tournament begins with the 5A quarterfinals and all but one Class 3A set for Monday the 27th.
In Class 3A Estherville Lincoln Central the top seed in 3A opening against #8 seed Vinton Shellsburg at 5:00 pm Monday. Sioux Center drew the #6 seed and will open with a quarterfinal against #3 West Marshall at 10:00 am on Tuesday the 28th.
In the Class 2A quarterfinals Sibley Ocheyedan the #4 seed opens against #5 seed Regina Catholic at 8:30 pm Tuesday night. Central Lyon drew the #2 seed and will open with a 10:00 am quarterfinal against #7 seed Panorama on Wednesday March 1st.
In Class 1A Remsen St Mary’s drew the #4 seed in their first trip to the State Tournament and will open with a 3:15 quarterfinal on Wednesday March 1st against #5 seed West Fork.
