Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2018-2019 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Women – Darbi Gustafson, Northwestern College (Center)
Northwestern center Darbi Gustafson is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women’s basketball player-of-the-week. Gustafson, a senior from Ethan, South Dakota, averaged 24.5 points and 11.5 rebounds in wins over #20 University of Jamestown and #25 Midland. Gustafson shot 63% from the field and registered a double-double in both games. She matched her career high with 29 points, going 12-of-17 from the field, in the Red Raiders 95-71 win over Midland on Saturday. Northwestern, ranked #5, has won seven straight games and is 10-1 on the season.
