Hawkeye Offense Looks For Improvement Against Michigan State

Iowa running back Tyler Goodson says the Hawkeyes are motivated by their 0-2 start to the season.

They bid for their first victory on Saturday by hosting Michigan State.

Goodson says Saturday’s game is big.

Goodson says he still has confidence in sophomore quarterback despite his struggles in the second half against Northwestern. Petras was intercepted three times in a 21-20 loss.

Sophomore center Tyler Linderbaum says Petras just needs more game experience.

Linderbaum says the Hawkeyes have but the rough start behind them.

The offense hopes to fix its second half woes. The Hawkeyes have scored only three points in the second half of their first two games.
