Heynen is a 5’8″ pitcher and outfielder who has played four years for Trinity Christian heading into her senior season. Heynen hit .353 with six extra-base hits while posting a 4-12 record and 6.68 earned run average in earning all-state and first team all-conference honors as a junior. She recorded 137 strikeouts in 87 innings last summer and also earned all-conference honors as a sophomore and freshman. “We are very excited to have Koralee join us in the fall,” commented Northwestern head softball coach Chris Nachtigall. “She is a quality young lady, both on and off the field. Koralee is the kind of player we are looking for in our program; hardworking, competitive, and a great teammate.”
