Zoe Hoekstra, a recent graduate of Unity Christian High School, has announced her intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender track and field program.
Hoekstra earned all-conference honors in the shuttle hurdle and 4×400 meter relays and was an alternate on the Unity 4 x 400 state qualifying team.
“We are looking forward to Zoe joining the track and field program.” said Dordt College track and field coach Craig Heynen. “She competed in high school track and field for the first time as a senior and had success. Zoe is a great person and will contribute positively to the team!”
Zoe is the daughter of Erik and Barb Hoekstra of Sioux Center, Iowa.
