Des Moines Iowa — The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State Baseball Teams have been released. In Class 1A the War Eagle had four players named to the first team. The Lakes Conference had one player each named to the 3A and 4A first team.
Named to the first team in Class 1A pitcher Jacob Wellelmann, catcher RJ Staab and outfielder Carter Kuchel of Remsen St Mary’s were all named to the first team. They were joined by outfielder Aaron Allard of Akron Westfield.
Second baseman Evan Olesen of Estherville Lincoln Central earned a spot on the 3A first team with Keaton Candor of LeMars named to the outfield on the 4A first team.
