Iowa City, Iowa — Indiana coach Tom Allen says Iowa’s physical style of play has allowed the Hawkeyes to enjoy consistent success.
The 17th ranked Hoosiers visit the 18th ranked Hawkeyes on Saturday in the season opener for both.
Allen says it begins with running the ball and stopping the run.
Allen says quarterback Michael Penix is at full strength for the game. Penix passed for more than 16 hundred yards and 14 touchdowns in six games last season before suffering an ACL Injury. Allen says Penix has put in the hard work needed to rehab the injury.
After a 6-2 record last season and a trip to the Outback Bowl the Hoosiers enter this season with high expectations.
