Iowa City, Iowa — The defending national champion Iowa wrestling team will take on Oklahoma State in a unique dual on February 12th at Globe Life Field, the home of the Texas Rangers.
It will also feature an international dual between the U-S and Iran. The Hawkeyes and Cowboys squared off outdoors in Kinnick Stadium back in November of 2015. Iowa coach Tom Brands.
Brands says there was no hesitation when approached about the event.
Oklahoma State and Iowa have combined to win 58 national titles and Cowboys coach John Smith says work on the event began in the summer.
